"Sometimes life is like that scene from Gilmore Girls where Luke and Lorelai stand there at this corner and it took them so long to get there and he brought a necklace for her and she got things right with Rory and then they just look at each other and are ready to kiss and then this fucking stupid annoying noisy fucking damn marching band comes around with kids dressed like apples and wind instruments and everything is ruined. Luke leaves and Lorelai falls right into the man who is selling the balloons and he drops them and then they fly away. It's a situation people might laugh about but it fucking hurts."
